Chris Rensonnet
Facilitator Manager
Chris joined the Sentis team in 2011 in the position of facilitator manager. His focus is to ensure Sentis provides cliental with the successful delivery of services & programs through overall management of a diverse group of facilitators. This will include maintaining dynamic relationships with facilitators & clients as well as many other teams within Sentis.
Prior to joining Sentis, Chris managed to develop a capacious range of skill sets throughout various private & corporate sectors. His most recent career developments were in the corporate sector as an operations manager of 100+ staff within the Hospitality and Distribution industry. Chris has voluminous experience in areas including, sales management, financial based statistical reporting, contract management, logistics, business operations, man management, as well as OH&S compliance management.
In the five years prior to starting with Sentis Chris scrutinized the amalgamation of two large scale distribution warehouses into one facility whilst also maintaining new and existing business with key clients that had specific, large scale operational and logistical
requirements. Chris has appreciated the opportunity afforded to him within Sentis & looks forward to delivering a dynamic team of world class facilitators whilst maintaining a strong client focus.
Chris enjoys taking time out to enjoy the finer things of life such as family time, surfing, cycling, & walking his two mini foxies – Kirra & Zeppelin.
Abby Jandro
Facilitator
Abby joined the Sentis team in Perth in 2011. Originally from the United States, Abby worked as an independent consultant and executive coach. Her clients represented a number of industries including networking technology, communications, real estate, higher education and consumer products. They ranged in size from small start-ups to the Fortune 500. Her work included executive team development, business development, strategic planning facilitation, employee engagement program design, organization research and skills training.
Abby has a MA in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Her research pertained to inclusion and perceived stress in work groups and international comparisons of why talented people do not succeed to the level expected. Her primary professional interests are leadership, work across cultures, and improving the well-being of employees - including their ability to keep themselves safe.
Off the clock, Abby enjoys spending time traveling, rock climbing, and participating in sports. She will be trading in her snowboard for a surfboard while living in Perth. Her goal in life is to learn and experience as much as possible while having a positive impact on her community.
Anthony Gibbs
Regional Manager
Since joining Sentis in 2008, Anthony’s passion for safety and assisting both individuals and organisations through positive change processes has driven him to work in numerous industries across Australia and throughout the world. Prior to working at Sentis, Anthony worked as a Psychologist treating addiction and chronic mental health conditions. It was this initial cognitive- behavioural insight that fuelled his desire to undertake work and employ practices that can improve the life and safety of people in a proactive fashion. These experiences combined with a down-to-earth attitude, have enabled Anthony to take on an approach to psychological safety that is both practical and tangible.
As the Regional Manager of Sentis, Anthony is passionate about safe production and is proud to be leading a multi-disciplinary group of people who assist organisations in creating real and lasting change.
Autumn Krauss
Chief Scientist
Autumn Krauss is a Chief Scientist at Sentis. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organisational Psychology with a Specialisation in Occupational Health Psychology from Colorado State University.
In her role at Sentis, Autumn partners with clients to conduct research demonstrating the impact of Sentis' services and programs. She also collaborates with academicians to present and publish scientific research related to occupational safety and health. Prior to being at Sentis, Autumn was a Senior Scientist in Kronos' Hiring Solutions Group. Autumn has authored several journal articles, book chapters, and encyclopedia entries as well as conducting numerous conference presentations regarding occupational safety and health, personnel selection, and employee onboarding. In addition, Autumn has been the recipient of research grants from funding institutions such as the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the Colorado Injury Control Research Center, the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology (SIOP), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Foundation.
Autumn is passionate about local sustainable eating. She enjoys cooking good food and eating it with good friends and family.
Bryce Ridgeway
Business Development & Reporting Manager
Bryce is Business Development & Reporting Manager at Sentis and is one of our most senior and experienced Client Team members. A registered psychologist, Bryce has worked in the field of psychology for over seven years, predominantly in forensic and organisational settings. Bryce’s professional history has focused creating attitudinal and behavioural change through group and individual interventions. Since joining Sentis in 2007, Bryce has facilitated the Zero Incident Process (ZIP) training programs across Australia, and in Africa and Europe, with a particular focus on safety leadership development. As a Project Manager he has worked closely with a range of resource industry and construction clients to assist them to achieve individual and organisational change, and establish safer cultures within their businesses.
Chandra Clements
BBus(IR&HR), BSc(Psych), GDipCom, FAIM.
Chief Executive Officer
With a diverse industry background spanning education, retail, mining, construction and distribution, Chandra has built her professional career around the application of psychological concepts to global business issues. Her success has relied on her ability to connect with ‘untapped’ human potential in organisations such as Rio Tinto, Fluor Daniel, OPSM, and Campbell Brothers. In 2009, she led a business of 380 employees to achieve a Lost Time Injury rate of zero, down from 19 two years earlier. Chandra has been involved in the design and implementation of customised business solutions such as a worldwide executive profiling diagnostic, a leadership enhancement program designed to assist organisations to deal with the lack of qualified resources in the mining industry, as well as the design and facilitation of a cultural development program aimed at improving holistic business performance in the resources sector. Since joining Sentis, Chandra has increased the number of psychologists by 40% and has implemented a global business model aimed at expanding the service offering of Sentis beyond neurosafety and in to the fields of cultural enhancement, leadership development and corporate wellbeing. She is a passionate leader who thrives on client success and the ability to accommodate cultural awareness and complex business challenges in to the responsiveness of Sentis’ solutions.
Charlotte Jameson
Facilitator
As a facilitator within Sentis, Charlotte brings with her a background in Psychology, Coaching, Neuro Linguistic Programing and practical experiences within the heavy industry. Having had experiences directly within the Safety Division of a top tier company, Charlotte has also rolled out the National Graduate Program, Leadership Programs and Coaching Workshops for front line leaders across 11 different business units.
Charlotte's practical experiences involve onsite coaching with front line leaders spending time on many different sites. These sites include; underground tunnels, railways, open cut mines, refurbishment of hospitals, desalination plants and aviation workshops. Such exposure coupled with experience within 'people development', Charlotte can relate well to people's experiences on various work sites.
Darren Kennedy
Quality Assurance Manager
Darren joined the Sentis team in 2011 in the newly formed role of QA Manager. His focus is to ensure Sentis provides the highest quality service and project management to Clients and this will include continuous development and improvement of the Sentis auditing, reporting and feedback systems.
Darren completed a Bachelor of Business at the University of Queensland and has developed his career in the private sector of the Hospitality and Distribution industries. Darren has extensive experience in areas including accounting, sales, logistics, business operations and systems, man management and tenders and contracts management. In the two years prior to starting with Sentis Darren concentrated on developing new and existing business with Clients that had specific, large scale operational and logistical requirements. Darren enjoys family time with his wife and two children and looks forward to camping, bush walking and a hit of golf whenever he can.
David Fairburn
Project Manager
David joined the Sentis team in 2011 in the role of Project Manager. His focus is to ensure Sentis provides the highest quality service and project management with clients which will include continuous development and improvement of Sentis client relationships, project planning, & effective communication systems.
David has extensive experience within areas including sales, logistics, business operations and systems, strategic planning, time management, project management, as well as tender & contract management. In the years prior to starting with Sentis, David concentrated on developing new and existing corporate business with clients that had specific requirements including the identification of service level improvements & custom client adaptations, large scale operational and logistical challenges, statistic based operational reporting & foreknowledge.
This required intensive analysis of a customer's requirements and integration of these into the business structure so that the client's needs were met. David has found this experience invaluable and it has allowed him to develop his skills and ability to understand and relate to a client's needs to facilitate successful outcomes for both parties. David has appreciated the opportunity to discover his potential in many diverse circumstances & further develop a variety of essential core skills that will enhance his career path with Sentis.
David enjoys relaxation time over drinks with family & friends whilst also taking time out to enjoy regular activities such as fishing, squash, golfing & attending regular motorsport events.
David Musgrave
Facilitator Manager-America (Acting)
David hails from Canada, and has been supporting our global clients via cutting edge, neuroscience based safety education and coaching for the past 5 years. David's role also includes providing post-training leadership coaching, and teams-level in field support, that effectively brings training concepts alive within client organisations to facilitate effective organisational change and safety performance excellence.
David's education has focused on the study of industrial-organisational and counseling psychology at the graduate level. This along with his experience as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist, guides his person-based safety interventions with senior executive teams, frontline leaders, and field level work groups within the heavy industry sector.
David maintains strong working alliances within the nuclear energy, oil and gas, construction, mining, smelting, pipeline fabrication/installation, and explosives industries. He assists clients across the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. David is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, and has presented at several international safety conferences.
David enjoys photography and exploring the outdoors in Colorado and internationally, with his family. Professionally, David enjoys co-creating world class safety results through applied neuro-anatomy including enhancing the effectiveness of leadership teams, safety meetings and orientations, and risk assessment practices. David also dedicates time to writing educational articles regarding adult learning best practices including HSE learning durability, and effective ways to create meaningful, memorable, and effective health and safety interventions
Elizabeth Prazeres
Business Development Manager
Elizabeth Prazeres has a Bachelor's in Psychology from the California State University of Long Beach, a Master's in Environmental Management with coursework in Environmental, Health and Safety from the University of Denver, and over 15 years of business development and leadership experience. Elizabeth started with Sentis in 2010 and works out of the Denver office.
Before joining Sentis, Elizabeth spent several years in the San Francisco area in business development and management. A promotion took Elizabeth to Chicago where she led a regional team in the Midwest region of the US. A desire for warmer weather and mountains brought Elizabeth to Colorado in 2004 where she continued working in business development and leadership in Talent Management strategy and technology. In 2007, she joined a consulting firm as a senior consultant. Her work at this firm included HR strategy and service delivery, change management, and talent management consulting.
Elizabeth spends her free time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and travelling.
Eric Napier
Facilitator
Eric brings to Sentis three decades of front line experience in a safety, operations and logistics role in a diverse range of industries predominately servicing remote and challenging environments.
These roles demanded meticulous risk management practices with an unrelenting safety focus. Eric's safety career commenced working as a Professional Ski Patroller in Australia, USA and New Zealand. In the role of Ski Patrol Director he implemented innovative public safety programs, was a national examiner and leader of an industry recognised rescue team.
He then worked as an Operations Manager and Guide with two of New Zealand's most preeminent mountain and helicopter ski guiding organisations which were reliant on an enduring and proactive team safety culture extending to the education and communication of best practice safety processes to an international clientele. Prior to joining Sentis, Eric worked in the field of safety and logistics as Location Manager in the production of a number of large budget international feature film projects with up to 500 onsite personnel. During this time he also worked in a relief safety role on offshore oil and gas rigs.
Proactive safety initiatives and decisive leadership attributes have been a common thread throughout Eric's career, and he is now enjoying the rewards of Facilitating a cognitive behavioural based safety approach in helping Sentis clients meet their safety challenges through embracing a new perspective on safety and well-being.
Esther Schwald
Contract and Business Improvement Specialist
Esther is our Contract and Business Improvement Specialist. In her role, Esther oversees the global management of client related contracts, Sentis' intellectual property and trademarking. Esther also manages a number of business improvement projects across Sentis globally. Esther originally studied Information Technology and Commerce at Murdoch University in Perth, and worked as an IT Consultant for six years at the beginning of her professional career. Looking for a change in direction, Esther then embarked on a path that saw her gain a broad range of international experiences across numerous industries in senior management positions. This included working as a Sales Manager for an international property company in Spain and being appointed as the Managing Director of an international language school in Zurich. Esther subsequently returned to Perth and was selected to be the CEO of a renowned architectural company before joining Sentis in 2008. Since then, Esther has worked in a number of senior positions at Sentis and also completed her Masters of Leadership and Management at Curtin University's Graduate School of Business. She continues to be involved with Curtin University as both a mentor to MBA/MLM students and occasional speaker.
Franc Hayes
Facilitator
Franc brings a diverse history of experience to the Sentis team. His former employment included facilitating a support group for male Sexual Abuse survivors, counselling clients connected to a Residential Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation facility, lecturing at Bond University in Ethics & Professional Issues in Counselling, and also looking after the well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS at the Queensland AIDS Council. Franc also ran a Private Counselling practice that catered for clients with issues of Parenting, Conflict Resolution, Behaviour Modification, Abuse, Addictions, Youth, all with a focus on empowerment and self-determination. All these roles considered and encouraged the health, safety, and well-being of the people involved so a switch to Sentis is an obvious progression.
Garrick Chatterjee
Facilitator
Garrick worked in non-government disability and mental health fields working with a variety of clients in South East Queensland with dual disabilities and challenging behaviours for approximately 5 years. Garrick has been involved in major pilot projects in supported accommodation reforms and supported living initiatives on the Gold Coast. Garrick gained additional experience in the Disability Employment Network before working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry for 2 years prior to joining Sentis.
Garrick successfully handled a number of roles including looking after the redeployment sector of the business for SE QLD whilst leading and managing staff as a Professional Services Manager in the Brisbane and Gold Coast offices. Garrick has worked across all workers compensation legislative frameworks nationally and with both private and public sector clients as well as most major insurers including QBE, Allianz, Australian Defence Force and the National Australia Bank.
Garrick conducted assessments and rehabilitation case management and conducted several pain management groups where his passion for the group process and facilitation was fostered.
Garrick is a fully registered psychologist, holds a Masters in Human Resource Management, is a qualified Workplace Health and Safety Officer (QLD) and Fire Safety Advisor. Garrick brings an eagerness for the group process, a willingness to learn and grow and share experiences through facilitation of ZIP and assist all participants to remain safe and achieve in all areas of their life. With a passion for industrial and organisational psychology an application for a professional doctorate in Organisational Psychology is currently being pursued. And yes Garrick was hired for his smoking good looks.
Jamie Toth
Sentinel Specialist
Prior to joining the Sentis, Jamie worked for more than 15 years with young people, families and adults within clinical settings. He has formerly held the position of Clinical Director for three Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment facilities, in addition to lecturing for the University of Queensland.
During his time in private practice, Jamie consulted with many organisations, providing clinical supervision, skill based training programs and clinical program design, including the development of an award winning program for the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre.
Jamie has now been a Sentis Facilitator for over 5 years and combines his extensive clinical experience with his knowledge of safety psychology to assists participants towards the goal of enhancing their capacity to improve their personal safety and general well-being.
Jessica Cranswick
Facilitator
Jessica joined the Sentis team as a registered Psychologist with a Masters degree in Industrial/Organisational Psychology. Jessica brings with her to Sentis experience as part of the safety team at Western Power; a utilities company in Western Australia. Jessica was responsible for coordinating the appropriate and timely response to all hazards and incidents experienced by the organisation and from here truly discovered her passion for safety and well-being. Jessica has conducted both applied and quasi-experimental research in these areas including the design and analysis of a work/life balance survey for Halifax Bank of Scotland Australia (HBOSA) and an investigation into facilitating the prospective memory of air traffic controllers in an effort to reduce fatal errors whilst maintaining timely performance of other routine tasks. Here at Sentis, Jessica is very passionate about coaching leaders and team members to make helpful safety choices. She brings lots of energy and fun into the programs she facilitates.
Joe Dixon
Sentinel Facilitator
Joe is a chartered Occupational Psychologist who joined Sentis as a Facilitator in 2011. The opportunity to use his experience and broaden his own skill-set whilst supporting clients in delivering their safety and wellbeing objectives was the driving factor behind his move to Australia from the UK.
He has spent the previous 5 years working as a Consultant Psychologist delivering a variety of leadership assessment and development solutions to clients, covering a broad range of industries across international locations. Joe gained his undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Psychology and Occupational Psychology and has also acquired experience working in Health Services, Human Resources, and Sports Coaching environments.
At Sentis he thrives on the having the opportunity to support the development of individuals with his facilitation and coaching responsibilities.
Julie Auger
Sentinel Facilitator
Julie is happiest when she is co-creating, facilitating meaningful organizational change processes and coaching others towards a safe culture. With a Master’s Degree in Organizational Systems from Saybrook University in California, Julie contributes her expertise in whole system intervention and action planning, resulting in organizational alignment. She blends this experience with her passion for facilitating ZIP training and encouraging mindfulness in safety.
Julie began her career as an Environmental Scientist and Biologist working for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and U.S. Forest Service. Her wildlife and fisheries projects varied across ecosystems, from Florida to Alaska. After over ten years in the field of biology, Julie decided to apply this systems perspective, originating in the field of biology, to human systems. In 2006, she served as a Managing Partner in an Organizational Development consulting firm where she brought about a new level of strategic thinking. She also team‐taught Bowling Green State University's MOD and Executive MOD courses.
Julie brings her playful attitude to her facilitation and interest in how we may live our best selves. She also loves life outdoors - hiking, camping, biking, snowboarding, and SCUBA diving. Her connection to nature is as essential to her as her relationships with friends and family.
Justin Martin
Sentinel Facilitator
Justin joined Sentis as a Sentinel Specialist in 2012 working for the Brisbane team. Justin holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Sciences, a Masters degree in Environmental Health and a Diploma in Occupational Safety at Health. Since graduating, Justin has been recognised for his safety expertise by becoming a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health since 2005.
Justin began his career working for a major UK regulatory body where his passion for the safety and health of people first developed. Moving into consultancy roles, Justin worked with many large and complex organisations to improve their management of risk and identify opportunities to make a difference to people’s safety and wellbeing. This evolved into managing a large safety consultancy in the UK and developing new, effective solutions for a wide range of companies. Justin moved back into a Head of Health and Safety role for a large multisite international distribution business that wanted to change its safety culture. Through implementing a people focussed behavioural safety program across all the UK sites, the business empowered colleagues to make safe choices, which increased the number of safety interventions across the board and significantly reduced the number and severity of accidents.
Justin thrives on new challenges and enjoys travelling the world experiencing new places and cultures. In his personal life, Justin has a great passion for photography, the natural environment, cooking and stretching himself mentally and physically with Triathlons and other sporting challenges.
Kanwar Singh
Facilitator
Kanwar has a ten year history of working in Training and Development. His professional qualifications include undergraduate and post graduate degrees in the areas of Business, Information Management Systems and Training. Kanwar's training and development and consulting experiences has seen him work across the globe throughout Australia, Asia and Europe. Prior to becoming part of the Sentis Team, Kanwar worked in England for over five years in a range of industries including the Legal (Lexis Nexis Butterworths) and Local and Central government (British Meat Hygiene Services). Kanwar's management extensive and complex learning and development project which included implementing brand new initiatives and always developed very strong relationships with his clients and achieved successful outcomes. Prior to this work, Kanwar worked as a Training and Placement professional in a Registered Training and Apprenticeship Centre in WA. In this role, Kanwar provided training and support to families, youth at risk, migrants and professionals seeking to get back to their chosen careers after long term sickness. In the beginning of Kanwar's career, he has also worked in the petroleum industry as an onshore and offshore surveyor in WA. Kanwar has a gift for languages where he speaks four different languages including English, Italian, Punjabi and Hindi. Kanwar also has a keen interest in travelling and understanding different cultures and traditions. Kanwar is also a hobby photographer and loves capturing people and scenic moments. At Sentis, Kanwar brings along his friendly and respectful attitude when facilitating and really enjoys helping individuals work towards their life goals through understanding and controlling their brains using ZIP principles and tools.
Katie McEvoy
Facilitator
Katie is a Registered Psychologist in Australia, graduating with Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from Griffith University in 2004. Following graduation, Katie embarked on her psychology career at Queensland Corrective Services where she provided individual and group based psychology interventions to forensic clients, including high risk and sex offenders. She was also heavily involved in the court process, providing court reports and submissions to Queensland Magistrates and District courts. Following this, she launched herself into a position at Queensland Mental Health, driven by her great interest in the treatment of dual diagnosis and trauma related disorders. After acquiring knowledge in the treatment of complex mental health issues, Katie found herself returning to the forensic field to take a position with the Queensland Drug Court. During this time she was worked across government and non-government organisations to mediate and direct client care for individuals with significant forensic histories and substance abuse disorders. She was predominately responsible for treatment planning, intervention, and program development and evaluation. More recently, Katie has worked as psychologist in the private sector, operating her own private practice. She has a passion for treating complex clients and is a skilled Acceptance and Commitment Therapy practitioner.
Katie brings with her a passion for creating a rich, full, meaningful life; a keen desire to challenge herself in new and exciting ways; and great hope that she may have a positive impact in the lives of those whom she is lucky enough to meet and/or treat!
Kevin Fisher
Facilitator
Kevin is a Registered Psychologist who joined the Sentis Team in Perth in 2011 with an extensive 20 year history working in training and development. Prior to coming to Sentis, Kevin worked as a Clinical Psychologist in both the private and public sectors. He’s specialized in the areas of addiction, forensics, mental health and employee assistance.
Kevin brought this experience into the business world working with mining, oil and gas, transportation and agricultural industries such as Syncrude Canada, Suncor Energy and Flint Energy. Kevin’s work included psychological support, site specific training and consultation in developing safe systems of work and human resource policy on substance use and fatigue.
Kevin brought his work into the public sector aiding Provincial and Federal governments in Canada to develop legal frameworks around substance abuse law and rehabilitative responses. He extended this work to serve the legal system as a court recognized expert on issues of drug use and mental health. He has also lectured in the Departments of Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, and Psychology in various Universities.
Training extensively throughout Canada, the United States, and now Australia, Kevin brings his expertise, energy, and fun to every facilitation experience.
Kristi Carpenter
Facilitator
Kristi joined Sentis in 2011 as a facilitator in the Brisbane based team. She is a registered Occupational Therapist in Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy Practice and a Graduate Certificate in Adult Learning and Training.
Kristi has a clinical background working in mental health within New Zealand and the United Kingdom, with positions in government organisations and more recently through her own private practice. Clinically she has drawn on a wide range of psychological interventions (Psycho-education, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, goal setting) alongside her holistic, occupational focus in therapy to facilitate well-being in rural and urban communities. Kristi has also worked in adult education as a lecturer at the School of Occupational Therapy in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Kristi has a passion for preventative and proactive intervention to avoid the 'ambulance at the bottom of the cliff' approach to health and safety.
Lauren Hancock
Project Manager
Lauren is a Registered Psychologist and holds a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Curtin University. In joining Sentis as a Project Manager, Lauren gets to apply her passion for organisational change, health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace and her knowledge of change and the brain to our client's safety culture change goals.
Prior to working for Sentis, Lauren spent six years in counselling roles in both health and corporate settings as well as in private practice. Most recently Lauren was working in a private practice providing counselling and coaching to individuals, couples and adolescents to assist them to make changes in their lives to achieve their mental and relationship health and wellbeing goals. Lauren takes a positive psychology, solution focused approach to her work with individuals inspiring them to take a new look at their challenges. Lauren has also worked extensively in the gambling sector providing both problem gambling counselling and creating responsible gambling policy as well as facilitating and coaching staff in responsible gambling programs for major gambling providers.
Lauren loves working closely with her clients to apply her ZIP and project management capabilities to effectively integrate ZIP into client's safety culture and working with senior leaders across sites to lead their people in having a safe place to work. Whenever she gets the chance, you will find her underground, in a truck or at a tool box talk ensuing she understand her client industry and getting her hands dirty!
Lucas Fabbrin
Sentinel Facilitator
Lucas joined Sentis in October 2011. Originally from Brazil, Lucas speaks four languages: Portuguese, English, Italian and French. Being a bilingual facilitator allows him to travel to different countries and to know different cultures and people.
Before joining Sentis, Lucas worked four years as a Clinical Psychologist. Lucas also started his own company working with I/O Psychology and Human Resources related to Information Technology. In his company, Lucas provided trainings on ERP software, and created and managed a website which informs about activities and events related to Psychology.
Besides his Degree in Psychology, Lucas holds a Master Degree on Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology from two universities in Europe. As part of his academic experience, Lucas participated in many psychological researches about personal strategies to deal with stress or conflict and about job satisfaction and job performance.
Lucas is a creative independent professional who loves to work in a team environment. He is always searching for new challenges and goals to be achieved, and he believes that professional growth is stimulated through constant feedback from work colleagues, and also from learning and production. Lucas loves to work with people from various job positions in different companies because it demands flexibility, which must be associated with clear and defined objectives.
Luke Greenwood
Facilitator
Luke is a Registered Psychologist, who joined Sentis as a facilitator in 2011. He has completed a Bachelor of Psychology and Masters in Applied Psychology (Organisational), focusing on workplace motivation and organisational commitment at both an individual and leadership level. After completing his studies, Luke joined one of Australasia's frontline workforce management organisations as a human resource management consultant with a direct focus on psychometric assessment, training and organisational development. Previously, Luke has had experience working with the Australian Defence Force, where he designed and delivered a number of training programs to combat occupational health and safety issues, targeting both managerial and individual initiatives. Additionally, Luke had a particular focus on the internal recruitment processes and the screening of personnel for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Luke also has extensive experience across a variety of human resource roles and this is where he first developed his enthusiasm and interest towards facilitating.
Luke brings his personable and fun-loving attitude to his facilitation and presents a passion for empowering the potential of individuals to achieve a greater understanding of safety and how they can take control in their lives.

Martin Royal
Facilitator
Martin is an enthusiastic bilingual safety psychology professional who applies his curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking to assist clients in achieving personal and professional breakthroughs. At Sentis, Martin brings his humour, open-mindedness, and result-oriented approach to deliver mind-changing ZIP training programs in English and French across the globe. He holds a master's degree in industrial and organisational psychology from Saint Mary's University and brings a strong understanding of how organisational systems influence individuals and vice-versa. He has designed and facilitated various undergraduate courses in psychology and management, at both the Royal Military College of Canada and Concordia University.
Prior to joining Sentis in 2011, Martin worked as a guidance counsellor where he designed and facilitated career development training workshops and coached individuals in defining exciting career plans and conducting effective job search. Over the years, he has developed an expertise focused on training facilitation, training design, psychological assessment, career coaching, and organizational studies and design.
Martin's vision is to contribute to the creation of "Aha" moments in people's lives to enable them to acquire new perspectives in their personal and professional development.
Mathew Bowen
Global Operations Manager
Mathew is the Regional Manager for our Western Region and is responsible for overseeing all of our work in Western Australia, Northern Territory, North America, South America and Africa. Since joining Sentis in 2006 Mathew has held a number of positions within Sentis and throughout that time has delivered training, coaching and cultural change management services to a range of construction, mining and utility organisations across Australia, Africa, Asia, North America, New Zealand and Europe. Mathew is a registered psychologist and with 11 years in the field has worked across a range of areas 19 including forensic, counselling, clinical and organisational settings, with a strong focus on behavioural and attitudinal change. Mathew also brings a diverse background having worked throughout the residential construction industry and in hospitality management prior to becoming a psychologist.
Michelle Brown
Business Development Reporting Manager & Facilitator Manager-Americas
Michelle completed her qualifications and research at the University of Queensland and is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. Before joining Sentis in 2007, Michelle practiced psychology in the non-for-profit and government sectors, providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, therapy and education in developmental psychology. While working with education departments, community groups, non-government agencies and individuals, Michelle became increasingly interested in the barriers and predictors to change at the individual and systems level.
It was while indulging her passion for international travel and culture that Michelle decided to make the shift to the consulting sector, to integrate her research, assessment and clinical skills with her interests in systems change. Since starting with Sentis as a Facilitator in Brisbane, Michelle has filled roles in product development, project management, internal culture development, coaching, and team management, and has brought that experience with her to her business development role in Denver, Colorado. Michelle skis the Rocky Mountains when she can, but is most often found at airports, looking for an adventure.
Nadia van der Woude
Facilitator
Nadia is a registered Psychologist and has completed her honours and a postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of Western Australia. Prior to coming to Sentis in 2006, Nadia had worked as a Psychologist across a number of speciality disciplines. Nadia worked as a School Psychologist with the Department of Education, Western Australia and assisted various educational and government agencies to achieve their behaviour change goals for individual clients. Nadia's role as a group facilitator in a highly regarded inpatient mental health unit saw her further develop her experiences and skill as a psychology consultant. Through this work, Nadia has gained a reputation among her peers as a consummate professional who is a highly competent consultant in the field of cognitive-behavioural psychology. Nadia has brought her skills and experiences to Sentis where she is primarily involved in the client team and supports our clients can achieve their safety and leadership goals, individually and as an organisation. Nadia has lots of energy and passion for her work with her team and this is reflected by her drive to constantly improve her skills and knowledge in leadership and safety in the heavy industry.
Nicole Heffernan
Facilitator
Nicole comes to Sentis having spent the last five years working in the not for profit sector. During this time she worked in a variety of therapeutic roles with traumatized and abused children and youth as well as their carers, including managing a group home for teenage boys and supporting residential foster placements. Nicole completed her psychology degree with honours through Curtin University in 2006. She is currently working towards achieving full registration as a psychologist.
At Sentis, Nicole brings her skills, experience and enthusiasm to her role as a facilitator in helping clients to better understand their brains and improve their overall safety and well-being.
Olga Gjokmarkovic
Project Manager
Olga is a Project Manager at Sentis and her focus is on ensuring Sentis provides the highest quality service and project management with clients, including the continuous development and improvement of Sentis client relationships, project planning and communication/reporting systems. Prior to commencing at Sentis in April 2010, Olga’s 17+ years of business experience consisted of using her marketing flair, her sensational sales support and being an organisational extraordinaire across a variety of industries including real estate, publishing, bulk sands, advertising and human resource consulting. From managing the despatch and delivery of 770 trucks for the construction of the biggest water filtration plant in the southern hemisphere (at the time), to creating the business processes and setting up the office systems for a start up property broking agency, Olga has a broad range of skills and experience to add immense value to Sentis’ clients.
Coaching, dance and small business are big passions of hers. Olga has previously run her own life coaching business and has also volunteered as a coach on several Landmark Education programs. After first discovering Latin dance whilst on a tour through Egypt (interestingly enough), Olga has been teaching Latin dancing part time since January 2007 and as her own business since September 2008. When Olga is chilling out, you’ll find her pottering around her garden and attempting to stop possums and pests from eating her herbs and vegetables.
Olivia Wallis
Positive Psychology Specialist
Olivia Wallis is our Positive Psychology Specialist at Sentis. She graduated from Leicester University with a Masters Degree in Occupational Psychology. Before that, Olivia gained a BSc in Psychology from Bolton University and also has a BA(Hons) from Manchester University in Philosophy.
Olivia began her Psychology career working on a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit before transitioning into Business Psychology back in 2005.
Olivia sits across all three divisions of the business at Sentis: Sentinel, Genesis and Apollo. Olivia specialises in consulting with our clients and designing bespoke solutions to help them overcome their challenges. Olivia has been involved in delivering ZIP (safety programmes), Scoping Leadership opportunities (Infinity and Tetris) and designing Well-Being programmes (Genesis).
Olivias’ area of speciality is ‘What makes people Happy and Organisations Successful’. Her research in this area was the basis of her company back in the UK before moving out to Australia in 2011. Olivia’s research not only proved that happy employees were more productive than unhappy employees but also that happiness can be sustainably increased using real and tangible interventions. It is these elements of success and happiness, and the activities associated with them, that Olivia brings to Sentis.
Olivia is passionate about Positive Psychology, animals and since her move to Australia, surfing!
Peter Kennedy
Project Manager
Peter joined Sentis in 2008 as a Facilitator for the Brisbane team, and made the transition to Project Manager in late 2010. Peter holds a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, and is a Registered Psychologist in Australia. Prior to joining Sentis, Peter worked as an applied practitioner, consulting with a wide variety of clients ranging from athletes to individuals within the corporate health sector. Peter's goal is to use evidence-based practice to assist people to develop the psychological skills that can assist them in achieving peak performance, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. In particular, Peter is invested in learning about new therapeutic approaches and their application to ZIP. Overall, Peter's strong interest in health and well-being lends to his passion for facilitating people through their journey towards a more rich, meaningful life. With regards to his Project Manager role, Peter is responsible for ensuring that our clients are continually delivered exceptional services. This includes everything from maintaining quality client relationships to the development of strategic rollout plans which assist the client towards the goal of zero incidents in the workplace. By combining his knowledge of performance psychology with the core values of Sentis, Peter enjoys the challenge of delivering ZIP to achieve his goal of empowering clients to ensure that they consistently make gains towards optimal health and safety outcomes. In terms of personal growth, Peter enjoys challenging himself through the avenues of music, photography, and various sporting endeavours.
Rebecca Williams
Sentinel Facilitator
Rebecca is a Facilitator and joined the team in 2011. The great attraction of supporting clients to more effectively lead their teams and improve their safety and wellbeing instigated her move from Canada to Australia to join Sentis (aswell as a more forgiving climate).
Rebecca is a chartered Occupational Psychologist who has built up varied experience in external consulting and internal roles within the private and public sectors. She gained her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Applied and Occupational Psychology in the UK where she was born and bred and where for a large part of her career she focused on helping organisations deepen their bench strength. Her passion and specific areas of specialism have included coaching, team dynamics and conducting holistic in-depth assessments for selection and development purposes. Immediately prior to coming on board with Sentis, she ran an independent practice based out of Toronto, Canada for 6 years. During this time she supported a wide-range of blue-chip companies throughout the globe to more fully understand their leadership capability, uncover their blindspots and find a challenging path forward.
At Sentis she feels passionately about the opportunity to use her skillset and experience to challenge the thinking of leaders and teams and encourage sustainable improvement in the way people behave.
Outside of work she likes nothing better than to explore new places, hang out at the beach and ride bikes with her daughter and husband.
Richard Wiltshire
Sentinel Facilitator
Richard joined Sentis as a Facilitator in 2012. After graduating from the University of the West of England in Business Studies, he decided to become a health, safety and environmental professional and qualified as a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) and became a Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (AIEMA)
Richard has worked as a Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Consultant for many years and has gained vast experience delivering consultancy work and acting as a project manager for a number of high profile clients. This has included health, safety and environmental management system reviews, acting as a lead auditor for the ISO 14001 environmental management standard, conducting due diligence assessments, helping clients with culture change initiatives, writing policies, procedures and safe systems of work, producing legislation and helpline support for the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), investigating accidents / incidents and conducting risk assessments.
As a trainer, Richard has designed and delivered health, safety and environmental open courses for industry and bespoke courses for key clients: Training has included: Board Room Briefings, Safely Training for Managers and Supervisors, Accident Investigation Training, Risk Assessment Training, Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Management Training, Contractor Management Training, Display Screen Equipment Assessors Training, Fire and Bomb Warden Training (including evacuation chair training), Environmental Sustainability Awareness Training and many other HS&E training courses.
Richard’s industry experience has included working on high risk sites which handle chemicals and radioactive substances, pharmaceutical manufacturing, hospitals, property / facilities management, telecommunications industry, aviation / defence industries, construction and civil engineering industries, furniture industry, government departments and housing associations.
Richard has a great passion for environmental sustainability and likes to study eastern philosophy and practice meditation and the martial arts. He also has a deep interest in all aspects of psychology and personal development.
Roberto Garcia
Facilitator
Roberto joined Sentis in August 2010. Roberto is a Psychologist with more than 10 years' professional experience across clinical, corporate and community settings. Prior to coming on board at Sentis, Roberto worked as a Rehabilitation Leader at Suncorp looking after a team of Allied Health professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and psychologists. Prior to that Roberto worked as a psychologist for over 6 years in various settings, mainly in a clinical and vocational capacity after completing a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Psychology and Human Bioscience at Victoria University. Roberto also completed a Master of Organisational Psychology degree at UQ in 2010. During his career Roberto has managed change projects, leadership development and psychology specific L&D initiatives. Roberto's view is that it is a better option to prevent than to treat, and therefore, he is an advocate of positive psychology principles and the value of well-being in the workplace.
Shannon Pennisi

Global Leader of Innovation
As the Global Leader of Innovation at Sentis, Shannon leads the Innovation Team to design, develop and evaluate innovative and effective neuropsychology solutions for our clients. The Innovation Team at Sentis is comprised of research, digital, and design and development specialists and psychologists who are passionate about creating unique, practical and proven programs, research and products in the areas of safety, psychology, well-being, organisational development and leadership. Since joining Sentis in 2008, Shannon has held positions in the Research and Assessments team within Sentis where she managed large scale research projects and designed and evaluated customised surveys and evaluations tools to support Sentis’ programs and services. Shannon is a registered Organisational Psychologist who has consulted across a range of areas within industrial/organisational psychology and organisational development. Shannon's previous roles have included psychological assessment, personnel selection and recruitment, training design and delivery, leadership development, team building, and culture surveys. Shannon has worked across a number of industries and particularly in the mining and resources sector. Shannon holds a Masters degree in Organisational Psychology and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the College of Organisational Psychologists (COPS) and the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). Shannon is in the final stages of completing a Doctorate in Organisational Psychology at Griffith University in Brisbane.
Sharon Burden
Sentinel Facilitator
Sharon joined Sentis in 2012 as a facilitator in the Perth based team. She is a registered psychologist with a PhD and Honour’s Degree in Psychology, a degree in the Sport Sciences, and Certificate IV’s in both Occupational Health and Safety and Transport and Logistics (Driving Instruction) Light Vehicles. Sharon is also a Full Member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Sport Psychology.
Sharon has extensive experience working in performance environments including mining, oil and gas, transport, corporate and elite sport. She has held a variety of positions including on-site coaching support, course design and facilitation, human factors risk assessment and education, development of innovations in training and assessment in the field of skill acquisition and development, and lecturing in Masters programs at the University of Western Sydney.
Sharon’s passion is to assist people with developing their potential in the application of knowledge and skills in the workplace. Through an extensive and broad knowledge base, and experience in delivering services in the field, Sharon’s skills can be used to help organisations maximise their processes, systems and training regimes by engaging individuals in the pursuit of ongoing performance improvement.
Steve Brown
Sentinel Facilitator
Steve Brown has been working for Sentis as a facilitator since August 2011. Prior to beginning with Sentis, Steve had twenty years of industrial experience as a frontline employee and as a safety specialist. Steve also has extensive applied experience in organisational development and recruitment projects.
Steve’s educational focus reflects his interest in employee well-being and organisational psychology. His published Honours Thesis was focused on employee reactions to workplace drug and alcohol policies and the best practice approach to the successful implementation of these policies. Following successful completion of his Masters of Applied Psychology degree (Organisational), Steve also completed a PhD.
Steve’s PhD Thesis was focused on the manner in which employees manage emotion as part of their work role, how this is linked to burnout and employee turnover, and the role that emotional intelligence plays. Steve also demonstrated the importance of different forms of social support in assisting employees, and ways in which the organisation can facilitate the support process.
During his PhD study, Steve was also a keen teacher of undergraduate psychology students, tutoring and coordinating a variety of psychology units. Steve hopes to continue to work with employees and organisations to achieve the best possible outcomes for all.
Steven Bennetts
Facilitator
Steve joined Sentis in March 2011 and brings his experience working with individuals, groups and organisations in the areas of criminal, clinical, and occupational psychology. Steve is a registered psychologist holding Master degrees in fields of Criminology and Psychology. He has over 10 years of practical experience working in people and organisational health risk management and leadership.
Steve's work within the organisational domain includes extensive experience in complex human resource issues, investigations and assessments, team resilience building and wellness, group facilitation, organisational health and hazard management, peer support programs, employee assistance programs, and workplace pre and post critical incident support.
Steve's passion for helping people flourish in life comes from spending 5 years in State government child protection where he spent time working on the frontline as a child protection officer and providing specialist psychological services to 2,200 employees including building team resilience and wellness, understanding organisational health risk, peer support programs, workplace pre and post critical incident support, and occupational violence audits of workplaces.
Prior to his career shift into the psychology of people and organisations, Steve worked in the computer industry as a retail business owner and in the marine industry as a sailing instructor and rescue boat driver. Outside the work environment Steve balances his pursuit for the perfect wave with spending time with his family.
Tenneile Wilton
Facilitator
Tenneile joins Sentis as a Facilitator. Tenneile has a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Charles Sturt University. Tenneile has worked in both government and non-government organisations, in various areas of Drug and Alcohol, Adolescent Forensic Psychology, Mental Health, and Crisis Interventions.
Tenneile embarked on her psychology career as an Alcohol and Other Drugs Counsellor in a custodial environment in rural NSW before returning to QLD to co-ordinate a drug and alcohol program for clients with matters in the Magistrates court. In this role Tenneile gained experience in program development, developing policies and procedures and co-ordinating a small team. Prior to joining the Sentis team Tenneile worked in the area of Justice on a small Aboriginal Mission west of Brisbane.
As a registered psychologist, Tenneile is keen to continue learning and growing in the field. At Sentis Tenneile combines her passion and quest for knowledge and skills in organisational psychology along with her own quirks and endearing traits. A key feature of her approach to providing interventions and training programs is Tenneile's personal quest to provide participants with something innovative and inspiring to them. It is Tenneile's vision that her own enthusiasm and innovation will inspire and empower her audience.
